We are one of the few and longest living farms to continue in the founder's name "Geer". The Heavitree is an original 18th Century building that was saved and moved to its current location suiting its surroundings, a 140+ acre farm started by their ancestors in 1700. "The house should suit the land, and the furnishings should suit the house". The original structure was a tavern located in Rhode Island, which had plans to be destroyed to make way for new construction. At this time, the owner Charlotte Geer was looking for an early farm house to compliment her families' historic farm land. This tavern is the treasure that was sought after for two years. When you walk through the doors you are taken back in time yet with all the modern amenities of today. There are twelve rooms including four sleeping chambers (three of which have private bathrooms), central air, Wi-fi and large rooms for private parties. Our spacious quarters consist of the unique 18th century Parlor, Dining Room, Keeping Room, Tap Room (which is part of the downstairs tavern) and the addition of The Great Room – completing the 4,780 sq. ft. farmhouse. Stroll the vast lawns, fields, gardens and take in the beautiful views. The expansive grounds are private and offer beautiful vistas. Strawberry Park Campground has been around for 20+ Years in Preston, CT. It is located 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun and 10 minutes from Foxwoods. Within the campground, they have a baseball/softball field, basketball court (with lights), 4 Pickleball courts, 3 pools, frisbees golf, organized activities, a waterpark area for kids, and a convenience store. THE AREA- The property is Located inside Strawberry park camp resort. Strawberry park is located 5 minutes from foxwoods casino, 15 minutes from mystic and has several beautiful wineries within a 3 mile radius. There are also 3 lakes perfect for fishing within 2.5 miles as well. A perfect trip for the summer filled with various activities to do. STRAWBERRY PARK- Known best for its themed weekends, the 77 acre property offers a ton. - 3 swimming pools and a hot tub - full size basketball court -2 large playgrounds -a baseball field -a rec room and arcade room - a grill and ice creamery - pickle ball and horseshoes The scheduled activities are a constant at strawberry park. From kanjam tournaments to face painting to the Tiki bar poolside for adults. I will put up both a link to the website and a sample activities list and themes for the upcoming summer weeks. MY PLACE- It is a one bedroom/ one bathroom home. The bedroom has a queen size bed with plenty of closet place. The living room couch pulls out into another queen size bed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and a 4 burner gas stove. Plenty of counter tops and dual sinks. The bathroom is standard with a shower/tub. The upstairs loft cover over 1/2 the square feet of the first floor. It's wide open and can easily sleep 4-5 adults comfortable. There is an air mattress provided. The deck is a huge space where you can eat drink and hang out. There is a table of 4 with another picnic table on the deck (NOT SEEN IN PICTURES). There are plastic outdoors chairs you can move to the front yard to sit around the fire. Feel free to use what wood is there, if you run out of wood it's avaliable for purchase at the front office. WHAT TO BRING- All rentals at strawberry park come bare bones. Which means you will need to provide linens/towels/shampoo/soap. I will have some things stored but I don't garuantee they will be in Stock. There is a Walmart one exit from the campground. What I recommend is packing like you are going camping and bring everything you think you need. WHAT ELSE- There is a 5$ fee per day for WiFi in the park. You can chose to purchase it through the park if you want it. I ask that you treat my home like it is yours. The cleaner you leave it, the better. I don't charge a cleaning fee because I have good faith you will treat it correctly. I appreciate your kindness in advance. If you have any problems during your stay, call at any time. This is a Site in a campground which has a trailer that sleeps 6. Includes A full bath, kitchen and dining area. The living room has two full size pull out couches. On this property there is a deck with awning. Also a picnic table and campfire. There are utensils, plates, pots, cups and a vacuum cleaner. There is a rental office for golf carts if needed for a fee. Please bring your own food, beddings, toiletries and person care products. Billings Lake Cottage sits high above Billings Lake with beautiful views of the the lake, the islands and the opposite shoreline. There is a view of the lake from inside in the living room and also upstairs from the sheltered porch. The cottage was totally redone in 2009. On the main level there is the main bedroom, the living room with a wood burning soapstone stove, dining area, the fully applianced kitchen and the full bath. On the second floor it is set up to be a sitting area or pull out any of the 6 beds (1 full and 3 twins) and make it a second bedroom for another family with the half bath and closet and dresser. Follow the natural rock pathway while holding onto the curved railing down to the water and there a kiddie area that was built up with rock and sand for the little ones and rock steps into the water for swimming. Also bring your boat and you can dock it at your own private dock. Or use either the paddle boat, kayaks or one of the 2 hydrobikes to go explore the islands and coves.

There is a door closing that hallway off from the main 2nd floor area, so there are 2 doors between 3 of the bedrooms and the bathroom. This gathering area is a very comfortable 2nd living room kind of place, or a great spot if you're just looking to grab some alone / me time. The Queen bedroom is down the same hallway as the bathroom, making it a bit more quiet because you can close that hallway off completely. This corner of Connecticut has so much to offer, from our proximity to the ocean, RI's or CT's, numerous rivers for hiking/kayaking/fishing to loads of wineries and a growing impressive list of small breweries within a short drive. We also have 2 world-class casinos within 10 minutes of the house. If you're up for a short drive, there are lots of charming day-trip destinations within an hour to places like Essex, where you can take the only steam train/riverboat cruise in the country; Mystic (stop in to visit Mystic Pizza, filming location of the iconic movie by the same name); Stonington Borough where you can buy lobsters on the dock and visit the farmers market, or browse the quaint shops along Water Street. So much to see & so much to do in this area, but if you're up for a dose of the big city life, New York and Boston are within ~ 2 hours, in opposite directions, of course ! The Stagecoach Inn is a newly restored Colonial Home built in 1790. The home is so named because of its use as a Stagecoach stop in the 1700's. It lies in the Historic Village of Poquetanuck named in 1687. The home is newly furnished with an eclectic style of new and antique furniture. It is as comfortable for adults with children as it is for adults without children. Our location is central to the Mystic and More area of Connecticut making any of the sights reachable within 20 minutes. We are located between Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun. This is a second floor apartment that has three bedrooms and can be rented as a stand alone rental. All of the beds are excellent quality pillow tops. Each bed has six pillows. The living room has an available queen size air mattress. The apartment is cleaned entirely when guests check out. Additional cleaning is available at an additional price. Many amenities are furnished making less work in packing for you. There is off street parking for up to four automobiles. We have discounts for various restaurants and attractions. Captain Grant's was built in 1754 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in a Village named in 1687 and surrounded by fields and historic homes makes Captain Grant's a great place for a family vacation, wedding or short holiday. The home has elegant charm that is both 21 century and 18th century. Five rooms have fireplaces as well as the keeping room on the first floor. A three story deck allows everyone to bask in the sunshine or read a good book while looking over our five acre lawn. We are centrally located in the Mystic and More area of Connecticut. The E.A Huntington, home built in 1717 in historic Beanhill, Norwichtown, laced with stone walls, warmly welcomes visitors to 4100 sq ft of airy space. Set on 3.5 acres of land, it provides privacy and yet leaves room for plenty of activities: inground covered pool, basketball hoop, soccer, and exploring the land and pond. 4br and 2.5 baths, can be combined with 2br cottage rental. Property within less than 5min walk to Marriot hotel, 8 min drive to Mohegan Sun. The in ground pool is covered and open April-November. It is not heated but the room heats up nicely with the sun. I provide each guest with 1 bottle of water per booked day that will be available in the fridge upon check in, and individual coffee creamers. If you have another favorite coffee/tea condiment, we can work these details out prior to your check in. We have off-street parking for 2 compact vehicles which will need to park directly behind each vehicle or 1 larger truck, other vehicles will have to park on the street. The basement storage will not be accessible.
